1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use a website. They help the site work, remember choices, or (with your consent) measure usage.
This policy describes how zenonum uses cookies during the closed beta.
2. How we use cookies
We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for Discovery preview, session continuity, and sign-in. These do not require consent under EU ePrivacy practice because the service cannot work without them.
- Analytics cookies — not used in closed beta unless we enable them and you opt in via the cookie banner.
- Marketing cookies — not used in closed beta.
3. Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| `vibelo_discovery_session` | Keeps your guest Discovery preview workspace so your chat can continue before sign-in | Strictly necessary | 7 days | zenonum |
| Authentication session cookies | Keeps you signed in after OAuth sign-in | Strictly necessary | Session (browser/session lifetime) | zenonum |
We may add analytics cookies in the future. If we do, we will update this table and ask for consent before setting them.
4. Third-party cookies
When you sign in with an OAuth provider (for example GitHub or Google), that provider may set cookies on its own domain. We do not control those cookies. Please read the provider’s cookie and privacy policies.
5. AI features
zenonum sends chat content you submit to third-party AI providers (see our Privacy Policy). That processing is not done via advertising cookies.
6. Your choices
- Use Reject non-essential on the cookie banner to limit cookies to strictly necessary ones.
- Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice later.
- You can delete cookies in your browser settings; strictly necessary cookies may be set again when you use the service.
